DJ, journalist, label owner, Ivan Smagghe is a jack of all trades. Graduating top of his class at IEP Paris in 1992, he went on to work at the Rough Trade record store, contributed to Nova Magazine and Les Inrockuptibles, DJed for Radio Nova, and performed as part of the duo Black Strobe with Arnaud Rebotini. He has also been an occasional columnist for Bernard Lenoir and served as the artistic director of the label Kill The DJ. Throughout his 43 years, Ivan has lived multiple lives.

Now, Ivan Smagghe has embarked on a solo career and heads the label Les Disques de la Mort.
